 The Box,

The Box is a group of Arlington High & Middle School students who have a passion for rock & roll. They are returning for their fourth year.  They've been together for three and a half years and have played venues ranging from the 9:30 Club in DC to the McLean Day festival in McLean.

 Quarter Mexican

Quarter Mexican is a collaboration by three founding (now retired!) members of Arlington music scene local legend Gonzo's Nose and includes Glencarlynite Jon Discount.  QM has been performing in the Washington, D.C. area since 2007.  They play a variety of popular cover music from the '80, '90s and beyond.

Since 2008, Quarter Mexican has been a regular performer at Banding Together, the Annual Battle of the DC Law Firm Bands benefiting the charity organization Gifts for the Homeless.  In 2010, QM was awarded 1st place in another Battle of the Bands hosted by the DC chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.  QM also makes a regular appearance at The Discounts' annual backyard barbecue in GlenCarlyn!

They provided music for the block party in 2010 & 2012.  Photos and video from GCA Day 2012
