Next year Arlington County will be replacing the aging Carlin Springs Road bridge over N. George Mason Drive. As part of the design process for the replacement bridge, the County is seeking community input on the aesthetic elements of the new structure.

The County has developed an on-line survey which provides some alternative design concepts. We are asking community members to review the concepts and provide feedback via the survey instrument. It is our goal to design a bridge that is not only durable and functional but will also be an attractive element of our community for the next 50 years.

The survey which will be open through July 11th, can be found at: http://www.arlingtonva.us/departments/EnvironmentalServices/ProjectsAndPlanning/capprojects/page80347.aspx

Community members can also express their opinions at a public meeting to be held on Tuesday, June 26th at 7pm in the Lubber Run Center room 104.
