The Glencarlyn Branch Library, in partnership with GCA’s Supporters of the Glencarlyn Library, is pleased to present a series of monthly programs featuring local authors, artists, musicians, historians, gardening gurus, and others who can both educate and entertain by sharing their knowledge and expertise.

Monday, March 18, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.—Alyssa Ford Morel, Extension Master Gardener, “Tips, Tricks and Tools: Advice from Master Gardeners”
What are the secrets for developing a green thumb? What do the experts know that we don’t? Extension Master Gardener Alyssa Ford Morel will share gardening tips and useful tricks from Master Gardeners throughout the region.

Monday, April 15, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.—Sharon Malley and Sean Dudley, “Artists at Work: Tapping into the Creative Self”
Local artists Sharon Malley and Sean Dudley will discuss their journeys as artists and the perspective they bring to their paintings and other works of art. They also will share their knowledge of the resources available locally for both mature and budding artists.

Professional harpist Linda King will share her love of music and expertise in playing the harp. Learn about this unique instrument while you listen to dulcet melodies from classical music to even modern rock and roll.

Tuesday, June 18—Steve LeSueur, author of Life and Death on the Mormon Frontier: The Murders of Frank LeSueur and Gus Gibbons by the Wild Bunch
Historian Steve LeSueur will discuss his new book examining a brutal double murder committed by Butch Cassidy’s notorious Wild Bunch Gang, which for a brief period terrorized banks and trains on the American Western frontier.
