The Community Survey showed that Glencarlyn Library is a valued community resource. Everyone should take time to review the full survey results and comments on the Glencarlyn.org website:

Based on the results of the survey, we have identified three areas that address the interests of the community and will provide added value to our library: a Speakers Series, a Gardening Information Center, and Game Nights for both young people and adults. WE NEED YOUR HELP. .We need volunteers to help direct or assist with these programs. We especially want those experienced and interested in gaming to get involved.
If you can help in any way, use the Sign-Up Genius, or contact Julie Lee, jfblee@aol.com.
The Arlington County Deer Management Project team is gearing up for a second round of community engagement. Because Glencarlyn’s park and community is acutely impacted9 by the deer population, it is important that we understand the different management strategies the County is considering. Experts from the Parks and Natural Resources Division will share more information and answer questions about the project. The County wants our feedback. Plan to attend Monday Feb 5, at 7:30 pm in Carlin Hall. For more information and updates on the Project go to the project webpage.
We will also be electing the Nominating Committee who will submit a slate of officers for FY 2024-2025. Names put forth are Barbara Martinez, Alex Hecht and Rachel Porter. Nominees can also be taken from the floor.
